Searching for Information?

Periodically, I receive requests from members asking for particular information.
Recent questions have included:
“How many In Lieu days can I take in a year?”
“Who are the site reps at SMHS?”
“I cannot find the email you sent us on student loan forgiveness. Could you please resend me the information?”

While I don’t mind providing this information, please keep in mind that our new website is full of important documents and links. In addition, it also contains every email I have sent to our members over the past four years.

SMJUHSD HR

Are you receiving emails from SMJUHSD HR? Some of you may think they look like SPAM and have not be reading them. Just wanted to be sure everyone knows they are from our District’s Human Resource department. An important email regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) was sent form SMJUHSD HR yesterday at 2:04PM.

Frontline – AESOP

As of Tuesday, March 10, 2020, the district is transitioning to a new Frontline Platform. The next time you log into Frontline you will be asked to change your username and password. This is of course if you haven’t done so already. Yesterday when I logged into Frontline, I received the message below. You might want to login sometime in the next few days to make these changes, rather than wait until the next time you are sick.

Here is the link to Frontline: https://www.aesoponline.com/login2.asp

Attention Staff:

On Tuesday, March 10, 2020 our district will be transitioning to the Frontline Insights Platform! The Insights Platform is an upgraded operating system for our Absence Management system. On the day of the upgrade, the next time you attempt to sign-in to aesoponline.com, you will be prompted to create a new Frontline ID.

Your new ID and password will be what you will use for accessing Absence Management going forward. The email invite you receive will come from notifications@mail1.frontlineed.com, and is intended only for your use; do not forward to others.

[For districts with multiple Frontline applications] With your new Frontline ID, you will be able to login to all Frontline web applications with one single ID and password.

Please note you will continue to use your existing Phone Login ID and Pin when using the phone/kiosk system.

You must take action to access your Absence Management/AESOP account. Otherwise you will not be able to get into Absence Management/AESOP

School Calendar 2020/2021 & 2021/2022

At the March 10th Board meeting, the School Board approved the school calendars for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 school years. They have approved calendar B which is the calendar most of our members preferred. However, they did make one small change. The first two work days of each semester will now have the professional development day on the first day and the teacher work day will be on the second day before school starts. The calendars have been uploaded to our website.
